•Preferences: Opens a window where you can choose the keys used to play, change the sound output volume and select music options (random, selected, none), adjust the overall game speed (choosing the frame rate you wish). •Use Quickdraw: Needed to play PacMac if your Mac is equipped with a non-standard video card: it slows down the animation a little. •Background Tasks: Allows multitasking during the game. Useful when downloading or compressing files: it may slow down the game, though. •Use/Remove Musics: If your Mac is equipped with a 020/030 processor, by default you will have all musics disabled in order to perform smoother animation and better game speed. Anyway, you can activate the musics with this option, so to test your Mac's power in displaying animation, playing sounds and music.
